This agreement establishes the terms and conditions for venue hire at Occasio by Singh Events, owned and operated by Singh Events Pty Ltd.

1. Booking Confirmation and Deposit

1.1 Non-Refundable Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of [$1,000.00] is required to secure the booking. This deposit is deemed non-refundable and unreasonable due to the costs incurred in securing other vendors essential to the event. The deposit will be allocated to cover third-party vendor fees and associated preparatory costs, which are non-recoverable.

1.2 Binding Agreement: This contract is binding upon receipt of the deposit by Singh Events Pty Ltd, and no signature is required to enforce these terms. Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of all terms and conditions listed.

1.3 Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full by 2 days before the event date. Failure to meet the balance payment deadline will result in forfeiture of the deposit and cancellation of the booking.

2. Event Terms and Conditions

2.1 Venue Usage: The venue may only be used for the agreed-upon event type and activities. Any changes to the event type or nature must receive prior written approval from Singh Events Pty Ltd.

2.2 Venue Access and Setup: Access to the venue is permitted only during the hours agreed upon in writing. Additional hours or early access may incur extra charges.

2.3 Capacity and Safety: The client agrees not to exceed the venue’s maximum capacity of. All events must comply with local health and safety regulations, and Singh Events Pty Ltd reserves the right to enforce these requirements.

3. Vendor Coordination and Client Responsibilities

3.1 Approved Vendors: The client agrees to use only approved vendors or to seek approval from Singh Events Pty Ltd for any external vendors.

3.2 Vendor Cancellations: The deposit will not be refunded in cases of vendor cancellation due to the client’s change of plans or non-compliance with vendor requirements. Singh Events Pty Ltd will make every reasonable effort to provide alternatives when necessary but assumes no liability for third-party vendor issues.

3.3 Damage Liability: The client is responsible for any damage caused to the property or venue furnishings by themselves, their guests, or vendors. A security deposit may be required and will be returned following an inspection post-event, minus any charges for repairs.

4. Event Cancellations

4.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations: Should the client cancel the event, the deposit remains non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued, as the deposit has already been applied toward securing necessary vendor services.

4.2 Force Majeure: Singh Events Pty Ltd is not liable for cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, or other acts beyond its control. In such cases, rescheduling options may be available but are not guaranteed.

5. Compliance with Local Laws and Regulations

5.1 The client agrees to abide by all applicable local, state, and federal laws during their use of the venue, including noise, safety, alcohol, and occupancy regulations.

5.2 Any fines or penalties incurred due to non-compliance are the sole responsibility of the client.

By paying the non-refundable deposit, the client acknowledges and agrees to all terms outlined in this agreement with Singh Events Pty Ltd.
